I'm having the same problems on both a Mac Pro and a MacBook Pro. Since the patch they are both unusable at 4-5 FPS, and the MacBook Pro heats up in record time now.

Graphics performance on my desktop machine has been annihilated by the update also. Mac Pro OS X 10.6.8 dual 2.8 GHz quad core xeon 14 Gb RAM ATI Radeon HD 5770 Used to get 60 FPS, now I get 5.3 Both my Macs are unplayable.

I'm having the same issue as #19. 13" Macbook, 2.53 GHz Core 2 Duo Nvida GeForce 9400M Post patch my frame rate is down from 15-30 FPS to 4 FPS. Unusably slow. Everything is just clunky slow and horrible now.
